Marina Morrison hosts a number of special events throughout the year. These events usually include designer trunk shows and sample sales.

•	Claire Pettibone Personal Appearance & Trunk Show March 12 & 13 Los Angeles Designer Claire Pettibone will be making her first ever personal appearance at Marina Morrison to celebrate the debut of her bridal line at our boutique. Claire is best known for designing gowns that are not only unique and distinctively vintage, but that captures an ethereal and romantic look. Claire, who is a graduate of Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles, launched her bridal line based on the success of her luxurious collection of fine lingerie. Many of Claire's gowns exclusively use the finest European embroideries and laces. Come meet Claire on this rare occassion to work directly with the designer on selecting your beautiful gown. •	Marchesa Collection Debut & Trunk Show March 19 & 20 Marchesa will be debuting its first complete bridal collection at Marina Morrison. Come meet the designer's representative and be one of the first to wear one of Marchesa's new bridal gowns. Many gowns on display will only be available during this special event. What is a trunk show?
At our designer trunk shows, brides will have the opportunity to preview and be the first to purchase the latest gowns from a particular designer’s newest collection. These gowns are flown in (in trunks) from the designer’s studio specifically for these events. Brides will often have the opportunity to personally meet with the designer or their design representatives to make custom changes or modifications. Most of these gowns will not be officially available in stores for another 3-6 months, allowing our brides to be the first to wear them and be truly unique for their special day.
